USF Personal Training and USF Group Fitness

usf personal training

USF personal training programs have grown in recent years. The FIT Program, which pairs seniors from the Exercise Science program at USF with faculty and staff members, is a unique program. Students assist clients in fitness assessments, creating individualized training programs, and overseeing post-assessments that assess the results. Maureen Chiodini, a USF instructor, says that the FIT Program complements university coursework and gives students real-world experience.

USF students, faculty, staff and alumni can access the three fitness centers at USF for just $316 per calendar year. Faculty and staff can purchase daily or monthly guest passes to the gym. You can access the entire rate card online. You can also use the campus gym without a LA Fitness membership. Make sure to check the USF site for information on hours and whereabouts of the USF personal-training program in your city. You'll be glad you did.

If you're interested in becoming a personal trainer, Campus Recreation is an excellent choice for continuing your education. Campus Recreation staff will review your information and respond to you via email. This assessment will help them determine what exercises will work best for you. After that, they'll assign you a trainer so that your training sessions can start. The first session will consist of a one-hour evaluation on your flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, as well as strength. Students will be able practice with their personal trainer, and can work towards their fitness goals.

The USF campus has three gyms. All facilities are free to all students, faculty and staff. The Campus Recreation Center, which is home to many of Florida's best amenities, is a great gym. Unfortunately, USF gyms may be overcrowded because of the large student population. Personal training programs should be flexible enough that they can fit your needs.
